English: During the redesign of Jacob Burckhardt-Strasse in Basel in 2018, the residential area was relieved of through traffic using a modal filter. The residential environment of the node with a four-lane main road in front of it has become more attractive due to traffic calming. Bicycle traffic can continue to use the crawl path across the intersection.
