1. A breed of dromedary used for rapid travel; a swift camel.
   • 1853, Austen Henry Layard, Discoveries in the Ruins of Nineveh and Babylon:

     We had a seven hours' ride on the delouls, leaving the caravan to follow, to the large ruin of Abou Maria.
