  1. (colloquial, nonstandard) Pronunciation spelling of бензі́н (bjenzín): petrol, gasoline (a flammable liquid consisting of a mixture of refined petroleum hydrocarbons, mainly used as a motor fuel)

Usage notes[edit]

This reflects the hypothetical would-be spelling and pronunciation[1] of the word бензін if it actually were a native Belarusian word rather than a foreign loanword. May be depicted in books as a part of non-standard dialectal direct speech of a character.
