Plural of кознь (koznʹ, intrigue, jiggery-pokery, crafty design of the enemy, crafty design against somebody, scheme against somebody), further, inherited from Old East Slavic къзнь (kŭznĭ), from Proto-Slavic *kъznь. Related to *kovati (to forge).
