Borrowed from Latin theologia, from Koine Greek θεολογία (theología), from Ancient Greek θεός (theós) + -λογία (-logía, “-logy”). With -ло́гія (-lóhija) ending. Compare Russian теоло́гия (teológija), Belarusian тэало́гія (tealóhija).
