- 物固有形,形固有名。此言不得過實,實不得延名。 [Classical Chinese, trad.]

- Wù gù yǒu xíng, xíng gù yǒu míng. Cǐ yán bùdé guòshí, shí bùdé yán míng. [Pinyin]
