Inherited from Sanskrit เคชเคฐเฅเคเฅเคท (parokแนฃa), เคชเคฐเฅเคฝเคเฅเคท (paroสผkแนฃa), from เคชเคฐเคธเฅ (paras, โbeyondโ) + เค เคเฅเคท (akแนฃa, โeyeโ, form of เค เคเฅเคทเคฟ (akแนฃi) in compounds). Cognate with Pali parokkha.
