Well, it means "mountains", ie: "alps". What I am more interested in is the connection between mountains and white, if there is one. Clearly, the white peaked alps. However, I am uncertain in this is etymologically sound or not. 188.172.109.246 16:26, 28 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
