Is there a word allegate?

No allegate or allegates can be found in literature, only allegated can be found. Should only allegated be left, perhaps as an adjective? Yurivict (talk) 05:15, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

The verb is allege. I think allegate in all forms is an error. Equinox 05:17, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Cited. It's possible there's a noun sense if someone wants to dig it up. DTLHS (talk) 05:35, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
