Possible missing senses in logic

Chambers 1908 says "the analytic method (logic) proceeds regressively or inductively to the recognition of general principles, as opposed to the synthetic method, which advances from principles to particulars". Those may be sums of parts, but if so we should check that analytic and synthetic cover them properly. Equinox ◑ 05:18, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
