Chambers 1908 defines culverin as "one of the earlier forms of cannon of great length, generally an 18-pounder, weighing 50 cwt" and demi-culverin as "a 9-pounder, weighing 30 cwt". Equinox 02:17, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
