Talk:fall off the wagon

Surely this is in error. It is "common knowledge" ( to me at least ) that the origin of the term is the "temperance wagon" which would ask men in the street to climb aboard in testament that they abjured drunkenness and drink, and were encouraging others to follow their example. Nothing else makes sense.
