Eh. megaball wouldve been a better choice if they really wanted us to admire the size of the ball. usually we say that explanations like these are backronyms, and the fact that the site giving this etymology seems to have come up with the name Monolithic before they got into sports makes me think it's an advertising ploy. But, hey, maybe they invented the sport too, in which case they can pretty much define the etymology to be whatever they want. Soap 18:04, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
