Where "teatro" (Italian) is described as meaning "theater" in all meanings, does that include the American meaning of a cinema? Because in the Italian wiktionary https://it.wiktionary.org/wiki/teatro , teatro equates to the British definitions of theatre but not the American ones.86.181.21.251 13:34, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

Spanish "teatro" definition 2 "movie theater" isn't found in the Spanish Wiktionary's set of definitions of Spanish "teatro". Is it a modern development and/or restricted to Latin American Spanish or to Spanish as spoken in the United States? 13:47, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

- @Metaknowledge: I can't find any unambiguous cases, and I don't see it in dictionaries. The best quote I found turned out to be a theater that also shows films. The vast majority of Google Books results combining "teatro" and "película" are English translations that I wouldn't trust. Ultimateria (talk) 19:33, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
