viisi (in Finnish) and beş (in Turkish) = "5" are cognates... see beş / and there are no "B" and "Ş/SH" sounds in the Finnish language... so Old Turkic "biş/beş" = viisi Böri (talk) 12:26, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

This kind of uncritical resemblance-hunting is not how etymology works, I'm afraid. (For one, former *š becomes /h/ in Finnish, not s; for two, the stem is √viite-, not ˣviise-). --Tropylium (talk) 22:33, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
