yne[edit]

@Sokkjo, the Old English entry makes little sense to me. With the sole attestation as ȳ̆na (genitive plural), the nominative could not be yne. I propose this be moved to ȳn (onion), from Proto-West Germanic *ūniju, a variant of Proto-West Germanic *unnjā. Leasnam (talk) 18:32, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fyi, I went ahead and created an entry at ȳn. Leasnam (talk) 18:48, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I've moved all the accessory parts of yne to ȳn; yet what should be done with yne ? Do we need to RFV or can we simply remove the information ? Leasnam (talk) 20:10, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've removed it for the time being. Leasnam (talk) 20:39, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
