As the name suggests, I like discovering the origins of English words. Not just any English words, mind you, mostly place names! I can't explain why I have such a specific fascination with the origins of place names, yet, here I am. NativeNames. Not too creative of a name but, hey, it's not a race.
Favorite example? Cordoba. From Qarta-Yuba. Big departure.
