From betur (better) the comparative of vel (well) and sjá (they see) the present indicative first person plural of sjá (to see) and augu (eyes) and en (than) and auga (an eye), literally meaning "better see eyes than an eye", "many eyes see better than one" or "two eyes see better than one".
