- (Early Modern) Obsolete form of misinterpretation.
- Rastell, William (1557) A Collection of all the Statutes (from the beginning of Magna Carta unto the yere of our Lord 1557) which were before that yere imprinted. And furst a Pistle necessary to be redde by them that shall use this booke. In ædibus Richardi Tottelli.—Cum privilegio ad imprimendum solum.:

For those that were first written in latin or in frenche dare I not presume to translate into English for fear of misseinterpretacion. For many wordes and termes be there in divers Statutes, both in latin and in frenche, which be very hard to translate aptly into English.
