  1. An exclamation shouted during a game by the first player that sees an automobile with only one lit headlight, the said person being allowed to kiss or strike one of the other players.
    • 1948 May 23, Bob Montana, Nevada State Journal, Reno, NV, Comics section, Archie:
      "Let's play ‘padiddle’... When a car goes by with one headlight if I say padiddle you have to give me a kiss!"
