Inherited from Old East Slavic доходъ (doxodŭ),[1] from Proto-Slavic *doxodъ. By surface analysis, deverbal from дохо́дити (doxódyty). Compare Russian дохо́д (doxód), Belarusian дахо́д (daxód), Polish dochód.
