   бу аты наҕылытан илдьэ сырыт ― bu atı nağılıtan ilje sırıt ― be calm with this horse, or you won't be able to ride him/her

2. (transitive) to detain

   миигин наҕылытан хойутатта ― miigin nağılıtan qoyutatta ― he detained me (and so) I was late
