From Georgian ტო (ṭo), which is a shortening of კინტო (ḳinṭo).

  1. used to address or call a familiar person (formerly usually a male one), often implying on the part of the speaker some degree of authority or annoyance

    Գժվե՞լ ես, տո՛։Gžve?l es, .Boy, have you lost your mind?
