הִתְעַטֵּף • (hit'atéf) third-singular masculine past (hitpa'el construction)
- wrap oneself
- בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ לְהִתְעַטֵּף בַּצִיצִית:
- Barúkh atáh, Adonái Elohénu, mélekh ha'olám, asher qid'shánu b'mitzvotáv v'tzivánu l'hit'atéf b'tzitzit.
- Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the Earth, who sanctified us with His mitzvot and commanded us to wrap ourselves in the ritual fringes.
