شِرْذِمَة • (širḏima) f (plural شَرَاذِم (šarāḏim))
- (negative connotation) a deplorable group of people; mob; herd
- كَانَ جَمِيعُ النَّاسِ رَافِضِينَ لِلْحَرْبِ سِوَىٰ شِرْذِمَةٍ مِنَ السِّيَاسِيِّينَ
- kāna jamīʕu n-nāsi rāfiḍīna lilḥarbi siwā širḏimatin mina s-siyāsiyyīn
- All people were against the war except a pack of politicians
