From صوغوق (soğuk, “cold”) + ـلق (-luk, “-ness”).

صوغوقلق • (soğukluk)
- coldness, the sensation resulting from exposure to low temperatures
- coldness, frigidity, coolness of feeling, manner or quality
- (in hammams) frigidarium, a room with a bath of cold water
- kind of sweet dish designed to be served cold, usually eaten after meals
