فقاع (foqqâ')

  1. (Islam or archaic) beer
    Synonym: آبجو (âbju)
    فقاع مانند شراب از نجاسات ده‌گانه بوده و نوشیدن آن حرام است.
    foqqâ' mânand-e šarâb az nejâsât-e dah-gâne bude va nušidan-e ân harâm ast.
    Beer, like wine, is one of the ten najis substances and drinking it is haram.
