Borrowed from Arabic مِصْفَاة (miṣfāh, colander).

Noun[edit]

مصفات (misfat) (plural مصافی (mesafi))

  1. strainer, sile, colander, filter, any device through which a liquid is passed for purification
    Synonym: سوزگج (süzgec)
  2. ethmoid, a light, spongy, cubical bone at the root of the nose, through which the olfactory nerves pass
