  1. Introduces a subjunctive verb clause often corresponding to the English infinitive
    ܐܵܢܵܐ ܟܹܐ ܒܵܥܹܝܢ ܩܵܐ ܕܐܵܟ݂ܠܹܬ ܟܵܘܸܬ݂ܪܵܐ.ānā kē bāˁēn qā d-āḵlēt kāwiṯrā.I want you to eat lunch.
