Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀟𑀕𑀫𑀕𑀇 (ḍagamagaï). Cognate with Gujarati ડગમગવું (ḍagmagvũ), Hindi डगमगाना (ḍagamgānā), Punjabi ਡਗਮਗਾਉਣਾ (ḍagmagāuṇā) / ڈگمگاؤنا (ḍgmgā'onā).
