Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀤𑀼𑀫𑁆𑀫𑀡 (dummaṇa), from Sanskrit दुर्मनस् (durmanas). Doublet of दुर्मना (durmanā) and दुश्मन (duśman).
