  1. unconsciousness, fainting, swoon.
  2. delusion, bewilderment, distraction, phrenzy, weakness of intellect, infatuation, darkness or delusion of mind preventing the discernment of truth and leading men to believe in the reality of worldly objects and to addict themselves to mundane or sensual enjoyment.
  3. love, lust, passion, sexual appetite or craving, concupiscence, state of being enamoured.
  4. state of being charmed or captivated, fascination.
