Etymology[edit]
ḫꜥ (“rising, shining forth, appearing in glory”) + bꜣ (“active or efficacious power”) in a direct genitive construction, thus loosely ‘one whose active power appears in glory’ (literally ‘(one) appearing-in-glory of active power’).
