Megleno-Romanian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From ạn + a Proto-Slavic *vьrtěti (compare Serbo-Croatian вртети (vrtjeti), Bulgarian въртя (vǎrtja)), with the suffix -es(c). Inheritance from Latin invertere or vertere is not probable. Compare Romanian învârti, învârtesc, Aromanian anvãrtescu.

Verb[edit]

ạnvărtes

  1. (intransitive, reflexive, mi ạnvărtes) I turn.
