オブラート (oburāto): two pieces of 兵六餅 (Hyōroku mochi), a kind of sweet made from mochi rice, wrapped in oblaat.

Etymology[edit]

Borrowed from either Dutch oblaat[1][2][3] or German Oblate.[3][4][5]

Apparently first imported and used in Japan in the early 1900s.
