Etymology[edit]
Translation of Sanskrit शीलखण्डन (śīlakhaṇḍana, “violation of morality or virtue”). Tibetan equivalent is ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ཉམས་པ (tshul khrims nyams pa).
