Etymology[edit]
Sino-Korean word from 有無, from 有 (“exist”) + 無 (“not have”). See also Japanese 有無.

- (SK Standard/Seoul) IPA(key): [ˈju(ː)mu]
- Phonetic hangul: [유(ː)무]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
