Suffix[edit]

    დუშინ- (duşin-, to think) + ‎-ამ (-am) → ‎დუშინამს (duşinams, S/he thinks)
    მთურ- (mtur-, to change something) + ‎-ამ (-am) → ‎მთურამს (mturams, S/he changes something)
    ხარხალ- (xarxal-, to boil something) + ‎-ამ (-am) → ‎ხარხალამს (xarxalams, S/he boils something)
    ბარბალ- (barbal-, to talk in one's sleep) + ‎-ამ (-am) → ‎ბარბალამს (barbalams, S/he talks in her/his sleep)

Usage notes[edit]

  • In Vizha and Artasheni dialects all of the consonant groups at the end of the verb are simplified to (y). -ამ-ს > -აჲ (-am-s > -ay).
