Sindarin[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Modified from brog in Tolkien’s earlier conceptions of the language (‘Gnomish’ and later early ‘Noldorin’). Diegetically explained as inherited from Primitive Elvish *rokkō, and so cognate with Quenya rocco.

Noun[edit]

roch • 7cY (plural rych)

  1. horse
