- (modern Italianate Ecclesiastical) IPA(key): /aˈpu.li.a/, [äˈpuːliä]
Note: although the more modern dictionaries mark the /u/ as short, it's in fact only attested as long; on the other hand, it's always short in the endonym Āpulus.
