  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced with the head tilted toward to the source of the noise:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “Bent 3” handshape at the dominant ear (behind the cheek, above the jaw), palm facing forward.
    2. Hook the fingers repeatedly to indicate the intensity.
