Aren't the "step" formations more often hyphenated or written as separate terms, like step parent? --Connel MacKenzie 15:36, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

My Random House only shows them spelt as one unhyphenated word, like stepmother. —Stephen 15:46, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
