Category:Lovecraftian horror[edit]

Overly specific.—msh210 (talk) 06:34, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Strong keep. If we don't have categories related to literature, then what are we, a glorified grammar book? DAVilla 21:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Strong delete Way too narrow a category. Might make more sense to have the information in an appendix. Not every possible grouping should be a category. Categories are relatively slow to load in my experience. I believe that is because they place a relatively large burden on the servers, substantially independent of the number of members in the category. Inserting links to categories is (I would argue) excessively favored by HotCat. Using AWB to replace categories with "See also" links to appendices would be an easy way to correct the bias. Appendices offer the added advantage of allowing more specialized treatment impossible for categories, eg, tabular presentation, especially sortable tables.
