Etymology[edit]
Named after the former Cemmes Road railway station which took its name from the village of Cemmaes a mile or so to the north; this Anglicised spelling was later changed.
Proper noun[edit]
- A small village in Glantwymyn community, Powys, Wales, historically in Montgomeryshire (OS grid ref SH8204).
