1. (motor racing) Initialism of Daytona prototype, international.: A racing prototype sports car classification. A derivative of IMSA DP (“Daytona prototypes”), with some homologation with FIA standards, for international racing suitable for both FIA and IMSA sanctioning.
2. (motor racing) A race car conforming to this class.
