English[edit]

Noun[edit]

EFP (plural EFPs)

  1. (weaponry) Initialism of explosively formed penetrator.
    • 2008 July 29, David Hambling, “Superbomb Mystery: The Herrhausen Assassination”, in Wired[1], →ISSN:
The RAF device which killed Herrhausen is generally described as a platter charge, rather than an Iraq-style EFP. That's because the RAF are not thought to have had the skill to produce an EFP.
  2. (finance) Initialism of exchange for physical, exchange futures for physical, or exchange futures for product, a type of transaction.
