FQ

  1. (international standards, obsolete) Former ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code for the French Southern and Antarctic Lands from 1974 to 1979.
Synonyms: ATF (alpha-3 1974–1979), TF (1979–present, excluding Adélie Land)

Usage notes[edit]

The code was deprecated in favour of AQ (the code for Antarctica) in relation to Adélie Land, and TF in relation to the remainder, which was a newly created code that uses the term French Southern Territories.
