The Kansas city is named in honor of railroad official A.S. Johnson; the Missouri unincorporated community after then-incumbent president Andrew Johnson; the New York village after George F. Johnson, who led Endicott Johnson Corporation; the Oregon city after founder Delbert Johnson, the Tennessee city after founder Henry Johnson, and the Texas city came from the founder James P. Johnson.
