Melsetter

  1. A hamlet on the island of Hoy, Orkney Islands council area, Scotland (OS grid ref ND2689). [1]
  2. Former name of Chimanimani, the town in Zimbabwe, named by Thomas Moodie after his ancestral home in Orkney. Also the former name of Melsetter district, which now forms part of Chimanimani district.

Usage notes[edit]

There may still be a settlement named Melsetter in Zimbabwe, but Wikipedia does not mention this.
