Hi @Santi2222. Very interesting work.

To the best of my knowledge Galician doesn't have the phonemes /ɪ ɐ ʊ/ and rather has /i a o/, which have the unstressed phonetic allophones [ɪ ɐ ʊ].

Would it be possible to adjust the module accordingly? Either by making the vowel reduction a phonetic feature or, perhaps, by not showing phonemic transcriptions at all.

Hi! Yes, there's been talk about this in the discussion page of the template. It will be trivial to show the symbols ɪ ɐ ʊ in phonetic transcriptions only, and personally I don't have any objections regarding that.
Related to this, should we show reduced vowels in non-final post-tonic syllables? There are five post-tonic non-final contrasting vowels, but I'm unsure about whether /i a o/ get reduced to [ɪ ɐ ʊ] in that environment. Santi2222 (talk) 21:01, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've just updated the module to show vowel reduction as non-phonemic. Santi2222 (talk) 21:14, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Looks good, thank you. For the other matter I'll try to find a source. Nicodene (talk) 23:54, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
